Location Portrait.

I had a chance to create a portrait for long time friends Susan and Bill Fentress from New Bern, NC. I love the way their daughter Sarah was reaching out toward the family lab.

PEEPS
We had tons of fun Friday shooting images for an upcoming newsletter showing my sweet love for Marsh Mallow Peeps. I don't know what started this idea but I will say no Peeps were harmed in the photo process of this session. A bunch were eaten!.
It took 30 boxes of Peeps and lots of paper towels to get those sticky birds off our hands. We are now ready for Easter. If you are a fan of Marsh Mallow Peeps you can go to the Peeps website and join the fan club or get a real life. As if I don't spend enough time on the computer.I think my all time favorite is the old fashion yellow bird Peeps. I do like the white snowman.
All I have to do is a row of Peeps in the morning and I am ready to fly.

The Tarboro Snow
It has been a while since I had a chance to post something new on the blog. I have a new plan for some new blog images so I'll be here every other day.
We had some pretty and quick snow fall this year so far. A real southern snow fall is here one day and gone the next, just like all the bread at Food Lion. This is the park behind the studio we use for our family portraits.

Easter Special
The Easter Special is back. Every year after it is over we say " never again".Working with children and rabbits are always a surprise but fun. This year we want to change the set a little and offer more options on the price list so stay in touch. Last year I had a child ask me what the rabbit's names. I said that one is called "cash" and that one is called "flow". If you are not receiving our email newsletter visit the website and send us your address through the contact us page. The Family Portrait
One of the greatest tricks I can perform is capturing our own family portrait every year. I planned it this Christmas since it may be the only time I will have all the kids and dogs in one room for a long time. It did take a number of takes but after throwing a few dog toys into the Christmas tree next to the camera and telling everyone to keep looking at the camera I think we got one I can use for the house.






The Worm was ready once I started setting up. It reminds me when I go into someones home and start setting up for a portrait session and begin moving chairs always one of the kids will sit in front like that is the the spot they will be.
